You can take shuttle bus line 7 to reach South Bus Station and then from there you can take subway line 1 to reach Xinzhuang. Then you can change to line 5 to reach Wenjinglu Station. Getting out of the station, you can walk along the Dongchuan Road to reach your destination.
For the local tour, you can ask the hotel staff. According to my experience, many hotels have pamphlets of tours of local travel agency.
For eletronic item, Xujiahui area is suggested for you. You can take subway line 5 to reach Xinzhuang and then change to line 1 to reach Xujiahui Station. Getting out of the station, you can see the Pacific Eletronic Square.
