Food Limit

I want to bring lots of food such as canned food, packet food and snacks into China from England as I live here a resident. I understand I cannot bring fresh food etc but is there any limit on how much packaged food I can bring? Also, are there any other restrictions i am not aware of? Thanks.

Generally, the amount of food allowed to be taken in should be only for self-use. There is not a certain weight limitation. Detailed information is suggested to consult from your airlines or the customs.
Besides, food is not exempt from tax. So you have to pay 10% tax for the food you take in.

Right, all the dairy products and egg products are not allowed to be taken in, such as Chess and egg.
