Hourly Hotel in Pudong airport

Is the hourly hotel on the transfer level inside the international transit area. Or do I need to go outside the transit area and therefore get a Visa?

Hi, it is located on the Transfer Level of the main terminal building. You don't need go out of the transit area.
But as I know, the hourly hotel is provided for first-class passengers. The exact information can be got by dialing 021-68346480 (for domestic service) or 021-68346490 (for international service).

Does this mean I cannot use it if I travel economy. I have 17 hour layover at Shanghai. What are the other options please?
