About:Chinese Consulates in Thailand

Hello, for tourist visa from thailand - China do i need to show bankstatement?

I am ducth citizen and we will be in Thailand next month and we also want to visit China as tourist with a group tour. Do we need to show bankstatement also when apply for visa, and if so is a photocopy good enough?

Hi, you are suggested to apply in advance in Netherland before leaving for Thailand. The single entry China L is valid for 3 months from issue date. It is the most safe way for you to get a visa. Bank statement is not required generally.

Hi, the reason why i want to apply for it in Thailand is because the price is much lower there then it is here...

But you may be asked to provide long term visa or residence permit for Thailand if you apply there. So, better get it before leaving.
