About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

how to apply 'dependent visa"

Am working at china,i want to get my wife and son here for 5 months,how can i get them here through dependent visa.
1.What kind of documents i need to submit?
2.Can they get it from Chinese embassy at Sri Lanka or once they come back here for application?

They can enter with L visas and apply for extension after entry. You need to send them copies of your passport, work permit and residence permit and an invitation letter. Other documents needed are your proof of relationship such as marriage certificate and birth certificate.

"L"visa need medical certificate or when they go for extension they need medical cerificate?
my work permit registed in shanghai but am working at shandong weihai,can my family take extension at weihai local goverment immigration office or they have to go to shanghai?

For a stay less than 6 months, medical check is not required. They need to get extension in Shanghai.
