Hi, I thougt of going there this 8th.Februari 2013. Is it ok to go round the city during winter?

It is OK to visit the Great Wall and the city during that time, but you need to prepare well for the cold day. The temperature may down to -6C. It is very chilly, dry and windy. When climb the wall, you need to wear warm down jacket and antiskid shoes. Hat and gloves are also needed.
