how soon can we apply for visa?

Hi, We have just booked a flight ticket Hurghada-Bejing-Hurghada with departure 9/5, return 21/5. We travel with Swedish pasports. We have a trip planned to Cairo in the end of January. Is it possible for us to apply for the visa already then?

No, a single entry Chinese visa is valid for 3 months only counted from issue date. It is too early to apply in January if you will visit in May. The best time is to apply one month prior to your departure to China.
