visa requirements for visiting Guangzhou

Hi,
I will be spending 2 days in Guanghzou, arriving by ferry from Hong Kong.
As a French citizen, do I need to acquire a visa?

Yes, you do need to apply for a visa with your valid passport, return air/train tickets, hotel booking in Guangzhou and a filled application form.
