About:China Train

Are trains during the days either side of Golden Week still very busy.

Will it be difficult to find tickets from Shanghai to Beijing on or around October 7th.

Yes, tickets around Golden week will be in great demand. You had better buy the tickets once they are released, which is 20 days before departure.
