Single, double or multiple entry visa?

I'm a Danish passport holder, but a permanent resident of the Rep. of Korea. My girlfriend is Chinese, living in China. What are my options for visiting her in China? I'm curious about the difference in single, double and multiple ones for tourists. And ditto for business, as I am eligible for both, doing business with her father's business. My girlfriend will stay in China until July 1st only, and up to that point I plan to travel to China at least twice. After that, she and I will meet outside of China = no Chinese visa needed :)
I am, of course, interested in the best option at lowest cost. Thank you.

Hi, you need an invitation letter from your girlfriend, and copies of her Chinese ID. If you will enter China twice until July 1st, you can apply for a double entry L visa.
