About:Lijiang Transportation

please tell me bus and train still run following the above schedule in The Lunar New Year?

I planned took bus from Hekou to Kunming, then by train from Kunming to Lijang around chinese lunar New Year time. Could u tell me this 2013 train and bus schedule? Do I need book the ticket first or I can buy bus and train ticket at the bus/train station?

Hi, buses running from Hekou to Kunming are scheduled on 08:45, 10:50, 12:30, 13:00, 19:00, 19:20, 19:40, 19:50 and 20:00. During the Lunar New Year, buses for the journey may be more frequent.
Trains' schedule for another journey can be found on the website:

During that time, the bus tickets cannot be booked online, so you have to go to the local bus station to get one. And for the train tickets, it is suggested to book in advance. Otherwise, you may fail to get one.
