You need to pack warm winter clothes by the end of Jan when travelling to Shanghai, such as knitted sweaters, down jackets, and boots. It will be cold and dry with a low temperature of 0~8C. Sometimes, it can be below 0C. You should keep you away from the cold when going around the city.
