travelling in zhangye

Question

I 'm planning to go to ZY in next early April.My train time arrival is 12.17 pm,so i have half day travelliing to Dafo Giant Buddha  and then rent some car to Danxia landform,visiting both Linze and Sunan side,Is it impossible plan,enough time to do this?And next day i have have half day to go to Mati si cave before leaving from ZY to Jiayuguan Is it impossible? the train to Jiayuguan will depart around 12.44pm.Thanks in advance

Hi, actually in order to have a good visit at the Giant Buddha, Danxia landform and surrounding places, one afternoon is not sufficient. Generally one day is needed. As for your case, here is my suggestion:Mati Temple and surrounding places in the first afternoon. The temple is about 65km from the city. After that, go to visit the Giant Buddha. Next early morning, take a rented car to Danxia lanform and the surrouding places. After that, go back to the city and make preparation for Jiayuguan.

One more question please,What about the bus from ZY to Jiuyuguan? Does it depart every hour?,may be i will change to take the bus to Jiuyuguan in late afternoon.thanks for your help.

Buses for the journey are scheduled from 09:30 to 17:30 every 30-60min. In total, ten buses run for this journey every day.
