About:Taishan Mountain

Is Mount Tai ok to visit in January/February

Or would the weather be too severe?

It will be cold during January. I suggest to change another time, if you can. The best time for climbing the mountain is from April to November.
It probably snows in January, so if you want to see the snow, you can have a try.
