Is this EMS tracking number real?

I have a tracking number from China, it's EE880537512cn. Is it real? It's been two weeks or better and I checked the EMS site all I get is a message, No tracking information for the shipment, or overdue tracking.

Yes. It is real. I checked the information on the site and it shows that the parcel has been sent to New York(Kennedy) on 21th Dec and it is still on the way there. It may take more time to reach you in my experience, so I suggest you wait a little longer patiently. Hope it helps.
