About:Visa Policy of China

Chinese with US greencard, return to China for visit?

My wife is Chinese from Nanning, she is now in US with greencard. We want to travel back to China for visit with her family. Does she need any documents to reenter China?

From July 1, 2013, Chinese citizen need to submit application to Chinese embassy or consulate general if they want to go back to China for visit. If visit before that date, her passport is enough.
