About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Do I need to apply for the visa??

I am flying to New Delhi, India and have stoppage at GUANGZHOU, CHINA for 12 hours. I will be boarding the another flight within 12 hours of my arrival in china.

If you won't go out of the airport during the transit, no visa will be required. Even if you will leave the airport, you can apply for a stay permit from the frontier inspection station on your arrival at the airport.

I still remeber that When I transit Guangzhou Airport in 2009, I applied for such a permit and I paid for around CNY5.
