I want my Nigerian husband to come with me to china , I hold a valid Z visa.

Waiting on my company to send the duly authorized invitation letter to Burundi. Once we get to China he can he get family visa , but he ll have to come on a Z visa as I understand.
Can I help him apply in Burundi as he is on holiday with my family ?
