advice on clothing & festival events

Question

Hi there, my planned travel to Shanghai from 20th to 26th December with my family of 2 adults & 3 children age 13, 16 & 18. Advice on clothing and on 24th & 25th December festival events. Thank you.

It is cold during that time. The temperature is possible to be about 4~10C. It is also reported to have rain during that time. You need to prepare warm winter clothes like knitted sweaters, overcoats or down jackets.  You may find many Christmas celebrations on 24th and 25th Dec there, especially in the city center area.
