About:China Weather

Hello, I plan to travel to China from mid Feb to mid July. What region is best in terms of climate?

I have three choices Northern China(heilongjiang, liaoning, Beijing, Inner Mongolia, and Hebei), central( shandong, jiangsu, zhejiang, henan, hunan) or south(sichuan, fujian and Guangdong). which region would you suggest in terms of not too cold winters, warm summers with minimal rain or risk of typhoon?

Wow, since you have such a long time for travelling, I suggest you visit the south area from mid Feb to the end of Mar. Then go to the central area from Apr to the end of May. Finally, go to the nothern area during June and July.

To my experience, the central area is suggested. During the period you come to China, the north area is still cold, especially in Feb. and Mar. The south area will be hot and humid. Therefore, the weather in the central area will be most pleasant to your demand.

I suggest you go southwest, because other regions or spring, cold weather, like Sichuan, Yunnan throughout the year the weather is good, sunny
