shanghai to huangshan in february

Question

from shanghai if I take the train, is there only the K trains there are no fast trains? and how long is the journey? if its more than 10 hours what about the bus ? how long does it take to reach Huangshan? Is it advisable to go during the spring festival next year? Thanks

For trains, the K trains mean the fast trains and there are only that kind of trains between the two places. The train journey will take you about eleven hours and a half to reach the mountain. By bus, it will take you about 5 to 6 hours. It is not suggested to go there during the Spring Festival. Spring Festival is a bad time for traveling in China because of the bad traffic condition. It is very hard to catch any kind of transportation in China then.
