About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I have a friend who used a courier service to submit his visa application and accompanying papers.

He lives in Iowa City, Iowa. After the successful processing of his visa, everything was mailed back to him. He did not deliver anything in person nor leave the state of Iowa. I would very much like to use a courier service to deliver my application and am hoping I don't have to drive from Des Moines, Iowa to Chicago, Illinois and back in order to successfully get my application submitted and returned to me.

Please advise me on any option other than personal delivery!

Hi, there are no mailing services provided by Chinese consulate in Chicago. If you do not want to go in person, you can use an agency as your friend to handle application on your behalf. But make sure fill the application form by yourself. Or send your application to others if they are near to the consulate.
