study in china.but in which city? please help me :)

Hello everyone!I wanna study in China next year.And I think ıt would be only a year.But I still couldnt decide which city is best.I have some choice to go.Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian,Tianjin or Xian.Of course I know Beijing is the best but i have some doubts .Some of my friends told me, Beijing is good but there is so expensive and there are many foreign people, so its hard to study mandarin.And Shanghai also very very expensive and its have shanghaihua.Uhmm about Dalian, I heard its very good but most of my friend go to there.I dont wanna be them together.I need to be alone to learn good.I dont have many idea about Tianjin.I heard Tianjin's weather is very dirty and there isnt many Muslim's food choice.If somebodies give me some ideas, I'll be glad.Please tell me about that cities, or if u know more good city, please tell me!..

As far as you know, the best cities are Beijing and Shanghai. Tianjin is good, too. It is vey close to sea and Beijing. The transportation is convenient.  Since it is close to Beijing, the weather is not so good and there may sand storm in the Spring time. As for the Muslim food, please do not worry about it. Every university has a muslim restaurant for muslim students.I am studying in Xian, which is a excellent city in my opinion. It is a historical city with many historical sites around the city. The people here are warm hearted. The expense here is not so high as Beijing, Shanghai and even Tianjin. There are many muslim people living in Xian, so it is very easy to find muslim food in this city. Besides, there is a Muslim Quarter, which is the gathering place for muslim people. To best honest, the environment is not so good, because it is a city in north part of China. In a word, I love Xian best.I think you can decide on your own according to my description.
