About:Getting to Yichang

New Centure Port to Yichang East Station

Hi,

What is the most convenient way to get from the New Century Port (cruise port) to the East Station? I need to catch a train to Wuhan after getting off the cruise.

From the New Century Port, you can walk about several minutes to Sanyou Cave, then take bus 10 to Yiling Square and transfer to bus 1 or 9 to the East Station.

Thanks for the advice, John. Do you know if medium-sized suitcases can be brought onto buses in Chengdu?

My mistake! Should have asked about Yichang bus.

Anyway, can suitcases be brought to buses in that city? If too much luaage, how much would the taxi cost to go from the New Century Port to the East Stn?

Generally, the suitcase can be taken onto buses there. But if your luggage is too large, it may be not that convenient.
Form the port to the East Station is only about 8km. So the taxi fare is around CNY20.
