information regarding visit to hefei

I am coming from Karachi-Pakistan.Want to go to HF and then Xiangyang.My visit will be wef23 rd December to 30 th December 2012.Please explain1-Where should I land coming from Dubai.Shanghai or Beijing.2-How to travel from Shanghai/Beijing to Hefei3-How to travell from HF city to Xiangyang4-How to travell from Xiangyang to Shanghai or Beijing5-What is the climate at these area.

Hi, as you wanna visit Hefei, it is better to land Shanghai than Beijing. Upon arrival at Pudong Airport, you can take subway line 2 to Hongqiao Railway Station, where you can take a bullet train to your destination directly. Well, after visiting, you can take a train at the local train station to Xiangyang. Back to Shanghai from Xiangyang, I suggest you take a plane 'cause the train between the two destinations takes 16-20h. Shanghai will have the average temp of about 5C, so the sweater and jacket are needed. For other two cities, it will be colder, with the average temp of 0-2C. Thus you need prepare some thermal clothes to keep warm.Good trip~~
