About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Can I enter PRC and return twice in 3 days from HK and then go on & enter Shangai 2 days later?

I am holidaying in UK and wish to go to Shenzhen shopping twice and then travel by boat to Shangai a few days later.
This would occur on Feb 14th and 16th to go to Shenzhen and 19th Feb to reenter at Shangai. Can I get a multi entry visa to cover these 3 entries. My travel agent says no.

I think your travel agent is right. As your two trips to Shenzhen, you may apply for a VOA. Thus, you only need to apply for a single enty visa for your trip to Shanghai.
