Medical Examination Requirements for Work VISA

Hi, I am in the process of organising a Work VISA to Teach English in China for Six months. I have been told I need various medical examinations before I arrive. Is this correct? If so, what are the requirements and where can I download the form for medical examiner to sign here in Australia.
