If stopping in Hong Kong in transit 2 hrs. Can previous drink driving conviction get me detained?

Trip is from nz to Europe with two hour transit stop in HK. Do I need a visa or anything to declare my previous drink driving conviction. Or will it not be a problem?

Don't worry, if you hold NZ passport, you are not required visa to transit in HK during this trip.
