Is it possible to buy a ticket online for a friend that she can collect at SH railway station?

Is it possible to buy a ticket online for a friend, who is currently outside China, but will be arriving in Shanghai airport, then immediately wanting to travel on by rail to Nanjing? I am concerned that if she flies in and then immediately tries to travel to Nanjing, there might not be tickets available at the station. So instead I would like to book a ticket on her behalf (I have a copy of her passport) for her to collect when she arrives at SH railway station.
