From Friendship Hotel in no. 2 Lingshiguan Road, Chengdu to Panda Breeding Center.

The easiet way is to take a taxi to reach and the taxi fee is around 30 RMB. The bus transfer is very difficult for foreign friends who cannot speak Chinese.

2 ways:
By bus. Try to find Bus NO.99 on Renmin South Road which is quite near from Lingshiguan Road. Get off at Cheng du Zoo and then Transfer Bus nO. 198 and get off at Panda Base. It will cost you at least 1.5 hours to get there considering the terrible trafic problem in the northern part of the city.
By taxi. It's the most convenient way to get there. It costs around CNY70 to get there. Believe it or not, last time I went there even from Jinjiang Hotel (which is nearer than Lingshiguan Road to Panda Base ) , it costs me CNY67 by meters. By the way, you will spend around 40 munites to get there which means you could take a short rest then.
