About:Embassy of Sri Lanka in China

how can I accompany my husband to stay in China?

I am a Sri Lankan national married to a British national. My husband is currently working in China under Z visa for two years contract. I am currently in China under L which is due to expire in December. Could you please tell me how I could apply for dependent visa, Do I have to go back to apply for it, and even if I go back will I be able to apply for it from Sri Lanka.

You need to go back to Sri Lanka for application. Documents you need to provide are invitation letter from your husband, copies of his work permit and residence permit in China, as well as copies of his passport. Marriage certificate is also required. Anyway, I have to say that the consular officers have the final say to your application based on the documents you provide.
