Hotel Reservations

I want to apply for the Chinese visa now but I do not plan on going to China for 3 months and do not want to make hotel reservations in case my plans change. I have flights in and out of China, and addresses of the hotels I plan on staying in, do I really need to show bookings?

You'd better provide bookings for first few nights when you submit your application. Anyway, the detailed travel itinerary and hotel addresses are helpful.
