About:Shanghai Transportation

From Pudong Airport to Ambassador Hotel (818 Wan Hang Du Road, Jing An District) by taxi?

How much will the trip cost by taxi and do the drivers understand English or written English? Is there a meter showing the price?

It costs about CNY160-180. Well, only a few taxi drivers in the city can understand some English. There is taximeter in the taxi. It shows the price and distance. Well, a much cheaper way for you is to take the airport shuttle bus line 2 to Jing'an Temple, then take a taxi to the hotel. The taxi cost is just the base fare.
