Xinjiang during winter

Hello! Is it possible to travel along XJ during winter, or would you highly recommend not to do it during that period? Besides the cold weather, I presume the landscape sights are not the same as on october.

It is OK to go there during winter. The temperature of the long wintert here is around -15C (about 5F). It is very cold, but the beautiful scenery makes up for the cold at that time. You will need heavy winter wear when going there at winter time.
