Is it possible to obtain a Chinese tourist visa in Vietnam?

I am currently travelling in South East Asia. I fly home from Beijing and hope to travel in and around Beijijng for a few weeks before flying home. In a few weeks time I will be in Vietnam and hope to cross into China or maybe fly. Is it possible to get a visa in Hanoi somewhere?

Hi, you can have a try to apply for a China tourist visa in Hanoi if you are there now. But the officer of the consular office has the final say to your application.
