About:China Visa

Nationality: Austria. Do I need a visa for Shanghai, for less than 48h?

Hi everybody,

I have heard that I do NOT need a visa for Shanghai, if I wont stay there longer than 48h. But there are some new rules since 2012, is this still the same?

Thank you so much!

yes, you are not required visa for a direct transit less than 48 hours in Shanghai. The policy remains no change.
