About:Ancient Chinese Marriage Custom

What are the 5 Symbols to a successful/ happy marriage?

My grandma always told me about the 5 symbols that every married couple needs to have in their home. My fiance and I are wanting to put them in our home and can't find any information.

Do you mean the five symbols in Chinese culture or in Western culture? I do not think I can grasp your general ideas.

She always referred to them as Chinese Symbols. If someone could just tell me what they are in English I can find them. Just haven't been having any luck since I don't know what I'm looking for.

As far as I know, the Chinese couples will always have the patterns on Mandrin dcuks embrodier on their pillowcase, which stands for the harmony relationship.
