About:Ancient Chinese Marriage Custom

What are the 5 Symbols to a successful/ happy marriage?

My grandma always told me about the 5 symbols that every married couple needs to have in their home. My fiance and I are wanting to put them in our home and can't find any information.

Do you mean the five symbols in Chinese culture or in Western culture? I do not think I can grasp your general ideas.

She always referred to them as Chinese Symbols. If someone could just tell me what they are in English I can find them. Just haven't been having any luck since I don't know what I'm looking for.

As far as I know, the Chinese couples will always have the patterns on Mandrin dcuks embrodier on their pillowcase, which stands for the harmony relationship. Besides, patterns of dragons and phoenixes are used in their houses in wealth families in wish of a good marriage. Twin lotus flowers on one stalk are treated as the symbol of loyal couples.
I hope these information can help you.
