closest transporation to beijing china

Which place is more convenient and closest to beijing,macau or hongkong? HEnce,I am travelling to macau and then hongkong. Do O have to go back to macau and go to beijing?

Both of the two cities are far away from Beijing and both of them are about 2000 kilometers away from Peking, so you can directly go there after you visiting HK. Although there is direct trains from HK to reach, but it is suggested to fly to reach.
