How far is the Jingzhou Ancient City away from the Hotel area?

We are interested in seeing as much as we can the Ancient City during our two-day visit. As we have small children with us, we would like to stay in a hotel that is as close as possible to the Ancient City so that we would not need to be travelling between hotel and the walled city. Your help would be most welcomed.
