L-visa for Family

I have X-visa and want to bring my wife and children to china on L-visa...but the question is that, that I have to prepare the police clearance certificate and medical certificate for wife and children both????or no need for such certificates....please inform.

If they go just for visit, these are not required. However, if they are going to live in China for longer than 6 months, only physical examination certificate is required.
