About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Visa for my phillippino helper holding work permit in SPORE.

My family with 2 young kids are going to visit a friend in Shanghai. We are going for 10 days, so I guess we don't need a Visa. How about my helper with work permit? Do I need to apply one for her thru SCVAC?
What documents does she need as she is going as a caretaker to my kids? Do I need a document from my friend to verify we are going to stay at her place?

If I've to show the booked air tix for application, what happens if her visa get rejected?
Thanks.

Yes, you need to apply one for your helper either from the embassy or the CVASC with appintment. Invitation letter from your friends is required, including all visitors' information, the date of visit, where to live, etc. With the letter, you can try to apply without ticket.
