About:Shanghai Public Transportation Card

Ni Hao, From SSAW Hotel no 839 Renming Road Huangpu to Shanghai Railway Station by subway

from my hotel, Yuyuan Garden Station-Tranfer Station Line 2 East Nanjing Road, but get off in People Square, Transfer to Subway line 1 to the local Railway Station, am I correct? plz advise me, thanks in advance

Yes, you are right. Another way for you is to walk to Dashijie Station from your hotel and take subway line 8 there. Then transfer to subway line 1 at People's Square to get to the train station.
