Isn't the dragon year supposed to be good for roosters?

I am a rooster native born in 1981 and this year has turned out to be simply awful. I left my job in April because I couldn't work with a crazy boss. And my boyfriend of two years simply refuses to propose. I feel this is just about the worst year of my life. I do not see how things can get better unless I win the lottery before the year ends.
