need advice on passport renewal

Question

Hi, my name is Tolkin, I am doing my PhD in Beijing. Recently, I am back and just got new passport. I had Resident Permit in my old passport until July ,2013. What documents do I need in order to get X now.  I have a Certificate about my enrollment issued by chinese university , Student card (Xue sheng zheng), Certificate from AIDS center, copy of my old passport. Please kindly inform me if anything is missing.Thank you.

Hi, it is not necessary for you to apply for X visa again. You can enter with your valid residence permit in your old passport.
