Tongan Citizen traveling to China

Hi, I am a citizen of Tonga a resident of the U.S., wanting to travel to Beijing next month for tourist/ vacation purposes, I also work for United Airlines so I will be using a travel standby pass. Do I need to obtain a visa before arrival in Beijing???

Yes, you need to apply for a tourist visa to Chin in advance from Chinese embassy or consulate in US.
