Tongan passport holders don't need a visa to Hong Kong for 90 days, however, Hong Kong visa is required for Tongan National passports, Tongan Protected Persons passports

all tongan passport holder..tongan passports can go anywhere in the world .you just have to apply for visa before you leave wherever you are based. i have travelled the world on my tongan passport and used up four passports. very expensive on visas. but at least i can share this bit of knowledge with you all tongans. just ask away if you need to know anything. i have spend a lot of time back and forward into china so i have a lot of knowledge obtains of visa runs renewer is best done in hong kong. and should take 1-2days .there are normal people working as visa runners, you just have to pay them to go and apply for the visa while you enjoy a holiday and then return passport back to you and you carry on with your trip. cost is cheaper then going through a travel agent, because everyday the visa prices change and its not cheap.
