what are the requirements for student visa for china,do i need any language proficiency

Documents required are visa application forms, one recent passport sized photo, a valid passport with blank pages, the visa application form for international students (JW-201 or JW-202 form) issued by the Ministry of Education of China and a letter of admission from a Chinese university/college. Language proficiency is not required.
