About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Am I required to deliver application in person or may a work colleague deliver application to the consulate.

Your work colleague can handle your application to the CVASC on your behalf if you can not visit the center in person. Here you should be aware that the consulate does not accept applications directly. All applications from regular passport holders should apply through CVASC appointed by embassy and consulates.
