About:Shenyang Travel

hi. i wl be travelling to shenyang on 26 dec 2012..any suggestion which places that we should go?

Shenyang Imperial Palace, Zhaoling Tomb and Botanical Garden are highly recommended for you. I have been there once and found them very nice. If you want to know know more about the attraction there, I think you can refer to https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/liaoning/shenyang/ where you can find many interesting places to visit.

tq carol.appreciate ur reply. i also want to see the ice festival at mt qipan? any idea how to go there? i might change my travel date to 19 dec, any suggestion how to travel around the city? is it safe? i did ask the local tour to mt qipan and they quoted me pretty expensive. tq

Hi, 19th Dec. may be a little earlier to view the Ice Festival at Mt. Qipan. Generally, it is started in the early Jan. in the next year.
You can take bus no. 168 at Maluwan Station near the local railway station to the Mt. Qipan Scenic Area directly.
It is safe enough to travel the city by your own if you don't want to join a tour. Anyway, I suggest you ask for a local English guide to give you directions or you need an English version map of the city.
