For the beliefs of Shanghai people, it is hard to tell you an exact one, because different people have their own in their heart. Any religious belief is accepted there.
Nationalities there, Shanghai is a modern city with all kinds of people coming from various of countries and different places in China.
For traditions, which aspect do you want to know? There are many aspects in Chinese traditions, such as wedding custom, living custom and so on. So what kind do you want to know?1
